BRAHMAGUPTA – PIONEER OF INDIAN ALGEBRAIC THOUGHT

Brahmagupta existed in medieval India, within the seventh century CE. Considered to be a profound mathematician and astronomer, widely recognized as the originator of Indian algebra. His groundbreaking work, the Brahmasphutasiddhanta, presented a systematic approach to algebra, encompassing concepts including zero, negative numbers, and parts. Mo
